Garden Photography Workshop/Maine Media Workshops

July 19-25, 2009

Rockport, Maine, is a magical setting for any workshop, and this summer I'll be teaching a garden photography workshop the week following local garden tours. Coastal Maine is home to charming cottage gardens, contemplative Japanese gardens, classic estate gardens and traditional English-style gardens with clipped hedges and lush perennial borders. We'll spend most of our time in the field--so come prepared to shoot early and shoot late. During the heat of the day, we'll review our work in critique sessions, talk visual design, and answer your questions about developing a portfolio, developing your photographic style and marketing your work.

Tuition: $1,020          Levels: 2, 3 and 4          Format: Digital          www.theworkshops.com
